What is a fixed charge?
A fixed charge is a fixed amount that you pay to be connected to the energy supply. You pay this amount even if you use little or no energy.
Everyone pays this fixed amount in addition to the costs for actual consumption.
By comparison, in a home with a central heating boiler, you paid not only for gas consumption, but often also incurred costs for purchasing, renting, maintaining and replacing the central heating boiler. With a heat network, you no longer have your own central heating boiler. Instead, you pay, among other things, a standing charge for the heat network. These fixed costs make the heat network, the supply of heat, maintenance of the installations and the services possible. If there is a fault or a component breaks, you will not receive a bill for this.
The maximum tariffs are set annually by the ACM.
The indexation method and the fixed price were agreed between the developer and Linthorst during the construction phase. No deviation will be made from this.
