How is my tariff structured?

The tariff is composed of fixed costs and costs for your consumption. The fixed costs consist of various components, as prescribed by the ACM, the regulator of the Heat Act. This includes, for example, costs for the delivery set, the metering tariff, and fixed charges for heating and cooling.

The consumption costs are (usually) measured individually; you pay for the heat consumption and/or the hot tap water.

The consumption for heat is calculated in GigaJoules (GJ). The consumption for hot tap water is calculated in cubic metres (m³).

No consumption costs are charged for cooling, only the fixed charge.
